I cant seem to find any free "copyright free" music to use as our on hold music. Anyone have any ideas? We use to pay A LOT of money to rebroadcast satellite music, but music on hold wav files free download wanted to eliminate that cost, and do it legal. At my last job i just took some of my favorite songs, re-tuned them for use as hold music with Audacity, and then started using them.
The only completely copyright-free music you're likely to find is old recordings which have gone into the public domain. It will mostly be classical, and sound quality will probably not be great.
You probably want royalty-free music. There are various providers out there for this kind of thing, it's usually not too expensive to get rights to a few songs.
